What do we collect? Family histories, histories of organisations past and present, such as churches, schools, clubs in general ,sporting bodies, social groups.
What we do not collect Artefacts: in other words, three-dimensional objects.

| Archives: | Our archive is situated in the main block, Home of Compassion, off Murray
Street, Island Bay. The archive is open each Friday from 10am -noon, 12.30pm to
3-30pm, with the exception of Easter week and public holidays, and from
mid-December through to the end of January. Our archivist contact number at the archive is: 021 027 86 577 or the contact phone number 972-7488 outside these hours. Researchers, visitors and volunteers to assist always welcome. |
